This course is suitable for lower risk workplaces, higher risk workplaces with a small number of staff and visitors or higher risk workplaces where others hold the full First Aid at Work qualification. It will provide you with the confidence, skills and knowledge to act in a first aid emergency in the workplace but is also suitable to learn first aid skills for general life. It is typically delivered over one day either in your setting with a minimum of 6 delegates or individual places can be booked on open courses.This course is available as a blended option for on-site courses (2hrs elearning prior to the course plus 4hrs contact time).
This course meets HSE requirements to provide first aid in the workplace, including higher risk environments and lower risk workplaces with a high number of employees. It provides the skills and knowledge to act in a first aid emergency, and continue to provide help confidently until qualified personnel arrive. It is usually delivered over 3 consecutive days although the course can be spread out over up to 10 weeks. It can be delivered in your workplace with a minimum of 6 delegates or individual places can be booked on open courses and is suitable for new or experienced first aiders. If you hold an in date First Aid at Work qualification you may requalify in 12 hours. This course is available as a blended option (6hrs elearning prior to the course plus 12hrs contact time).
This course is suitable for workplaces where the risk of injury in general is low, but there is also the risk of catastrophic bleeding, such as in manufacturing or where power tools / chainsaws are used regularly. It is also suitable in higher risk industries where others hold the full First Aid at Work qualification. It will provide you with the confidence, skills and knowledge to act in a first aid emergency in the workplace but is also suitable to learn first aid skills for general life. It is typically delivered over one day in your setting with a minimum of 6 delegates. The course is suitable for new or experienced first aiders and can be 100% tutor-led with no requirement for learning outside the classroom. This course is available as a blended option for on-site courses (2hrs elearning prior to the course plus 5hrs contact time).
This course is suitable for workplaces where the risk of injury in general is low but due to forestry work outdoors there is an increased risk of heat and cold conditions, life-threatening bleeding (use of chainsaws etc.) and insect bites and stings including the possibility of anaphylaxis. It will provide you with the confidence, skills and knowledge to act in a first aid emergency in the workplace but is also suitable to learn first aid skills for general life. It is typically delivered over one day in your setting with a minimum of 6 delegates. This course is available as a blended option for on-site courses (2hrs elearning prior to the course plus 6hrs contact time)
