Mental health is a challenging issue, and we can help you learn how to help others, provide support and signposting and know when and how to step in. For workplaces, the Health and Safety Executive include mental health as an area which must be covered by organisational first aid needs assessments. Our variety of qualification and bespoke courses can assist in empowering employees to look out for each other resulting in a mentally more resilient workforce, with the added benefits of less absenteeism, higher productivity, greater employee satisfaction and reduced staff turnover.
Our open courses in safeguarding meet the Wiltshire Council and Wiltshire Safeguarding Vulnerable People Partnership requirements laid out in the ‘Safeguarding and Child Protection Training: Guide for Schools, Early Years (EY) Settings and Childminders, September 2024’ with each course covering all of the topics in Section B. DSLs and DDSLs cover their criteria in a one day training course, whilst the topics for all staff and volunteers are covered in the morning of the same day. We also offer Level 2 qualification courses and bespoke sessions to meet the needs of individuals and organisations working outside the Ofsted framework with children and young people.
We also regularly run the Level 3 Award in Education and Training which is the entry level adult education qualification. With our passion for teaching and learning, why would we miss the opportunity to grow the next generation of passionate teachers?!
