We aim for our training to be as all-encompassing as possible so have a wide selection of courses available. We want to help the people who join our courses to feel confident and calm in an emergency, no matter where it takes place. For this reason, we provide first aid instruction on what to do outside of the home or workplace. This training is applicable to both adult and paediatric care. To join one of our open courses or arrange for an instructor to come to your location, please get in touch today.
Please note, the majority of our courses have a maximum 1:12 trainer:learner ratio. This is so each participant can receive the attention they deserve and has enough time dedicated to them to ensure they have mastered the necessary skills.
We provide first aid training that meets both HSE and Ofsted requirements and are nationally accredited by Qualifications Network UK. We offer the option of either joining an existing course at our site in Winterslow, or arranging a convenient time for a member of staff to visit your business and conduct any training on site. There are many different courses to choose from, each led by knowledgeable and qualified instructors. So, no matter your needs, we will equip you with the ability to keep those around you safe. If you’d like to arrange first aid training course for your business, then email us today. Or use our booking system to join one of our scheduled courses now.
We offer training on how to provide appropriate first aid when out in nature. These courses provide you with the skills necessary to assess and assist in a situation where illness or injury has occurred in an external environment. We also offer specific training for those who provide Forest School activities within an early years setting. These courses can be taken separately or combined where necessary.
We also provide comprehensive training on basic life support for anyone over the age of 14+, teaching you how to properly care for someone while awaiting medical assistance. In this course we explain how to correctly assess a situation for potential danger, put someone into the recovery position, administer CPR, save someone from choking and call for help. All of these points are applied to adults, children and infants, educating you on the best course of action for all in a medical emergency.
This course is suitable for early years settings who offer Forest School activities and also those require the EYFS/Ofsted Paediatric First Aid qualification as both qualifications can be undertaken simultaneously (alongside Emergency Outdoor First Aid as well, if required). It provides the skills necessary to deal with illnesses and injuries that may take place in both outdoor and indoor environments. It is typically delivered over two days either in your setting or a local venue with a minimum of 6 delegates.
This course is usually undertaken by people wishing to complete some CPD in first aid or by employees who require an annual assessment in Basic Life Support, such as doctors or dental surgeries. It is aligned with the current UK Resuscitation Council guidelines on CPR and use of a defibrillator, and the qualification lasts for 12 months.
This course is suitable for organisations and activity instructors who offer outdoor activities at a relatively low risk level within 30 minutes of emergency help. It develops the skills necessary to deal with illnesses and injuries that may take place in outdoor environments. It is typically delivered over one day either in your workplace with a minimum of 6 delegates or individual places can be booked on an open course.
